Things started quite unexpectedly 15 years ago, beginning with the organisation und planning of some holiday trips for friends, a party here and there. But Kai Benecke wanted more. He wanted to differentiate his work from others and put special emphasis on creating a pleasing and cool ambience. This worked out so well that he gained the reputation of being the best party organiser in town. Actually, at that time it was simply a great time for everybody involved.
In 1991 the Frankfurt Galaxy football team appeared and as there was no box office in Hanau, Kai Benecke took over this job. At the end of the season he was the biggest buyer of tickets on a private scale and selling at least 150 tickets each game.
In 1992 Kai Benecke developed a party concept for the Frankfurt Galaxy team. He wanted to engage new fans in the off season. The first event took place in February 1992 in Hanau and was a great success.
In 1994 Kai Benecke joined the JoCult Events team in Hanau. In this position he contributed to a great extent to the regional success story. He was responsible for the organisation and planning of the biggest ‘Thursday Flea market’ including all public events and promotion activities.
In 1997, a cooperation with JE Veranstaltungen in Hanau and HV Concertservice in Aschaffenburg started. On behalf of JE, Kai Benecke was in charge as executive producer and head of event staff, doing the stage set up for Wacken Open Air and Sound of Frankfurt. On behalf of HV he took over the regional support for artists like Genesis, Janet Jackson, Schürzenjäger, Phil Collins,M People, Rolling Stones and many others.
In 1998 he met another challenge as an event manager with Sky Project, Frankfurt. (clients and activities – pls refer to the list of references)
From 2000 to 2004 he joined the recently founded event unit within the UGW AG team as an employed project manager and was heavily involved in the construction of this new unit.
